Tech Strategist

Product thinking and web design for organizations that can’t afford a misstep.

I help nonprofits and small businesses decide what to build, then build it. Product strategy, AI adoption, and websites that ship, from someone who does all three.

“Most teams don’t have a technology problem. They have a clarity problem.”

How I can help your business

Pick one, or start with strategy and let the rest follow.

How I work

Short cycles, visible progress, no black boxes. You always know what is happening and why.

1

Diagnose

A short intake to understand the goal, the constraints, and what has already been tried.

2

Sequence

A written plan with phases, costs, and the decisions each phase settles. You approve before anything starts.

3

Build

Weekly check-ins and working artifacts, not status decks. You see progress as it happens.

4

Hand off

Documentation and training so your team owns the result. I stay available, not necessary.

About me

I’m Ben Harris-Kornblith, a tech strategist who sits in the gap most organizations fall into: the space between knowing something needs to change and knowing what to build.

My background is product management and web design, which means I can run the discovery, write the roadmap, design the pages, and stay accountable for whether the thing actually works once it’s live. Small teams get one partner instead of three vendors pointing at each other.

AI is now part of that work. I manage products built on large language models, ship with AI in my own development workflow, and advise teams on which tools are worth adopting, what they cost in practice, and where a human still has to sign off. The useful question is rarely whether to use AI; it’s which task, and what happens when it gets the answer wrong.

Mission-driven and owner-operated organizations are where I do my best work. The stakes are real, the budgets are finite, and good sequencing is worth more than any tool.
